How to get rid of vampirism?

We remind you that a hero can become a vampire if:
You will be bitten by another vampire and suffer from a disease called Sanguinare Vampiris (it happens by accident).

You will not stop the three-day process of turning into a vampire - you can drink potions of a healing disease or visit one of the chapels that give blessings (they are, among other things, available in temples located in Whiterun and Markart).

There are two ways to get rid of the vampire curse, and we have described them below:
To unlock the first opportunity to remove the curse, go to any tavern / inn in the game world and talk to its owner. Ask the innkeeper about the latest gossip, and one of them should be about learning about vampires by Falion, a magician living in Mortal. The game will open a new side quest Rising at Dawn, related to Falion. Visit our passage section to learn more and read a detailed description of this quest. We would like to remind you that during this quest, you must bring the Black Soul Gem to Mortal and meet Falion at dawn.

The second option to remove the vampire's curse is to unlock the transformation into a werewolf. To do this, you need to establish a partnership with The Companions of Whiterun (guild of fighters) and start doing some quests for them. The first transformation takes place during The Silver Hand quest for The Companions (screenshot above) - at this very moment, the vampire's curse is lifted. Important note! Even after you remove the curse, you can become a vampire in the later part of the game. The only exception is the situation when, after completing all the quests for The Companions, you remained a werewolf - being a werewolf, you cannot become infected with vampirism.
